Sorry it took so long to post the Christmas edition of our blog. The past couple of days have been busy. Patrick's first Christmas was great! We started off on Christmas Eve at Auntie's with a Christmas party, and our 1st annual (hopefully) Yankee Swap. Christmas morning Patrick couldn't contain his excitement any more and got up at 6am to see what Santa had brought. Santa brought a red fire truck and a music table. Then he got to open the gifts Mommy and Daddy bought for him. Once we finished opening gifts it was off to my Mom's for breakfast and more present opening. Then we came back home where Kenny's parent's came over for dinner and.... You guessed it more present opening. All of us had a great Christmas!

Tis the Season.....
To be busy!I have so much to post about. Sunday was the busiest day we've had in a long time. First we woke up to find snow on the ground. Patrick was fasinated by it.
What is this stuff Daddy?
Then we were goofing around with a silly fire hat and got a great picture.

It's Story Time
Today Patrick had his first visit to story hour at the library. There we so many kids he couldn't believe it! He however, was not at all shy. He crawled right into the mix and stole the other kid's toys. He is loooking forward to going every week and meeting up with his friend Connor.

Friends
This past weekend we headed down to New Bedford to celebrate our friend's daughter, Olivia's first birthday. Patrick was a bit overwhelmed by all of the people ( which we now know was because he has another ear infection. Poor Baby!) Anyway once he was away from all of the noise PJ had a good time hanging out with our friends and his godfather Keith.

This, That, and Him
On Sunday Ken, Patrick and I took a drive down to Connecticut to visit Diana, George, Reilly, and Liam at their new place. We had a great day relaxing. (Except for Kenny who George tried to kill at the gym. He still had fun though!) After the boys came back we decided to be brave and take Patrick, Liam, and Reilly (aka This, That, and Him) out to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. All the boys behaved reasonably well at the restaurant and all in all it was a great day!

Halloween
After PJ's adventures during the day, Ken, Kathryn and I tried to take Patrick Trick-or-Treating for his first Halloween. PJ, however, wasn't having it. He screamed the whole time and we had to cut our Trick-or-Treating short. Once we got him out of the car seat, however, he was fine. Check out the pictures of him in his costume.

Bring a Pumpkin to Work Day
On this past Friday PJ went on many adventures. He started off the day with me at my school. The kids loved playing him and are now pestering me to bring him back again. After he left school he went to EMC with Ken to make the rounds. Poor PJ was so tired after his adventures.

Mommas and Babies
Sorry about the delay in posting everyone. As many of you know PJ has had an ear infection for almost a month now and he's been keeping us pretty busy. He seems to be feeling better though so keep your fingers crossed. Last weekend we kept him pretty quiet, but we went to visit Dawn, James and Connor. We relaxed and had some pizza. PJ found Connor fascinating. He couldn't figure out if Connor was real or a toy. Since the Doraz family posted a picture of the boys, I thought I'd post a picture of the Mommas with our babies. I'll also put a link to the Doraz blog if you want to see "The Boys"

Wonderful Weekend
This past weekend was great! The weather was perfect, and both Ken and I had long weekends. On Sunday we took Patrick to the Topsfield Fair. We had a great time. We saw a police K-9 demonstration, ate some yummy fair food, and looked at all of the animals. PJ loved the ducks!

It's All Fun and Games Until......
Someone gets an ear infection. No fun posts this weekend. :( My poor little guy. He wasn't feeling good all weekend, so I took him to the doctor today and it turns out he's got an ear infection. The poor little guy had a really tough time drinking out of a bottle so I gave him a cup. (Check out the video.) Ken and I have had a couple of really rough nights, but PJ has had 2 doses of antibiodics and we're hoping he feels better by tomorrow. Hopefully, only 1 more rough night. Keep your finger's crossed.
There, there, Daddy. It'll be okay, I promise

Big boy toys
Out at night
For those of you who know us well, you know that September is the end of the third quarter. This means Kenny works just about every single day. So you may notice a few posts of just Patrick and I. Not to worry, Kenny will be making his return to our blog very soon. Last Saturday night Patrick and I attended our church's one year anniversary of their contemporary worship service. It was outside on their front lawn. We had a great time listening to the music. It did however, get pretty cold! This little outing has earned PJ the new nickname ( yes he needs another one) of The Mayor. He seemed to feel the need to socialize with every person there, be held by them, laugh at them, and ignore his food. (Which earned his Mama a ride home with a screaming hungry baby)
Brrrrr!
