Big boy toys

Last night for the first time Patrick sat in a big boy rocking toy! In order to use this toy he needed to be able to completely sit up on his own. Check out his thoughts as he uses his first big boy toy.
I don't think I like this
I'm not sure
I think so
Yes, I like it

Out at night

For those of you who know us well, you know that September is the end of the third quarter. This means Kenny works just about every single day. So you may notice a few posts of just Patrick and I. Not to worry, Kenny will be making his return to our blog very soon. Last Saturday night Patrick and I attended our church's one year anniversary of their contemporary worship service. It was outside on their front lawn. We had a great time listening to the music. It did however, get pretty cold! This little outing has earned PJ the new nickname ( yes he needs another one) of The Mayor. He seemed to feel the need to socialize with every person there, be held by them, laugh at them, and ignore his food. (Which earned his Mama a ride home with a screaming hungry baby)

Brrrrr!

Looking into the Future?

Everyone keeps telling me that PJ looks just like my Dad. So, I thought I'd put it out to all of my dedicated readers. What do you think? Is Patrick looking into his future mirror when he looks at his Grandpa? Should we start calling him Little Ray?

A Very Happy Unbirthday to You

Today PJ turned 6 months old! Everyone told me this would fly by, but I can't belive how fast my little one is growing up. Today we celebrated Patrick's 6 month birthday with a shopping spree for him at Kohls. Then we picked up some cupcakes. Poor PJ, still too little to enjoy cupcakes. He had cereal instead.

Are you ready for some football?

YES WE ARE! Today the Johnson family showed off their Patriots pride by wearing their jerseys. Wait a minute! What's that Chief's outfit doing on Patrick? Do we have a defector? Nope! The Chief's outfit was compliments of my coworker Mark who grew up in KC and is a diehard Chief's fan. PJ is still a Patriots fan, but he does look awful cute in the Chief's outfit. Thanks Mark!

Awaiting Hanna

Last night PJ and I were bored waiting for Tropical Storm Hanna to show up so we took a few pictures and a video of him in his jumperoo. If you saw our first video of him in his jumperoo boy will you be surprised at the difference a month or so makes. What's a tropical storm?
Crazy jumping bean!

I will go into the zoo.........

I want to see it yes I do. On Labor Day Kenny, his parents and I took PJ to the Capron Park Zoo for the first time. PJ slept the first half of the day then woke up to look at some of the animals. He saw a lama, some bears and even saw Ramses the lion. Ramses thought PJ looked pretty yummy. At was a great day, and a perfect way to end summer vacation.

Ride

On Sunday the weather was so beautiful that Kenny and Eric decided to go on a motercycle run for Muscular Dystrophy. They began their trip at Seekonk Speedway and ended up in Dartmouth. All in all about 500 bikes were there. What a lot of noise!

Lots of bikes
