Welcome Home Auntie K

Late last night my sister Kathryn flew home from a summer in France. We've all really missed her and are thrilled that she's back. PJ spent the day getting reaquainted with his world traveling Auntie K.

At the aquarium

This weekend was a great! My cousins Diana and George and their kids Reilly and Liam all came for a visit. On Sunday we made a spur of the moment decision to go to the New England Aquarium in Boston. Reilly had fun on the train, and Liam being his happy-go-lucky self enjoyed chillin in his stroller. PJ enjoyed looking at the fish. He kept banging on the glass with his feet so we moved to a safer distance so we didn't disturb the animals. Tata all!

It's Party Time

This past weekend was very busy for us. We had a cookout at my parent's on Friday night. Boy was it hot! I thought we were all going to melt. Then on Sunday we took PJ to his first pool party at Ken's parents. Again, it was really hot. Thank goodness for the pool. It was soooo refreshing. When oh when will this weather break? Anyway, we had a good time at both places. Check out our pictures.

Busy Day

Sunday was a very busy day for us. We went to the Whaling City Festival with our friends Marc and Stacy in the morning. Then in the evening we went to a favorite restuarant of ours, El Azteca, with Mom, Dad, and Dan. We were celebrating Q's birthday. Poor Q was too tired to have any margaritas. :( Oh well, that just gives us an excuse to go back.

Field Trip!

On Thursday we took PJ on a field trip to visit his Uncle Danny or Giant as he is also refered to at Unos. Patrick had a great time, and Dan carried him around the whole time we were there. Patrick now wants to be like his Giant and get all of the girls to do his work for him.

Camping

Over the 4th of July weekend we took a camping trip to the White Mountains. It was a very busy vacation, but we had a great time. We stayed for three nights at the Country Bumpkins Campground. No tent for us this year. We stayed in a cabin. Thank goodness! We took the baby to Clark's Trading Post, Kenny went zip lining with our friend Matt, and I took an off roading adventure with the girls. Below are some pictures. I'll try to post video later.

Sad Day

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Today we had a very sad day. Our kitty Belle died after a very short illness. She wasn't the nicest or sweetest cat but we loved her and will miss her. Goodbye Miss Belle J.

Jumperoo Time

Today we put PJ in his Jumperoo for the first time. He really seemed to enjoy the experience and even started playing with his toys. What a smarty pants! :)

( Sorry about the shaky video, we're still trying to get the hang of our new camera)

Welcome All

Welcome all to our new blog. We got the idea to start our own blog from some of our friends. We hope you will check in from time to time, as we will do our best to keep it updated.
