Happy Birthday Grammy

Yesterday we went to my Grammy's birthday party. We had a really nice time, despite the heat. Patrick was a bit on the sleepy side, but as soon as he found out there would be cake he perked right up and turned back into his usual charming self. Renee of course wanted to know when she'll be old enough to eat cake. :)

Can we PLEASE have cake now?

Yay. I've got cake!

Happy all around

Where's my cake?

If you're having a bad day....

Go dance in the rain! That's Patrick's motto. Must be mine too, since I was the one outside with him. Renee and Dada aren't much for dancing in the rain. They prefer snoozing away raining afternoons.

Summer Fun 2010

Although it may not be summer for a few more days it certainly feels like it. I love this time of year. If we could keep this weather instead of having winter, I may even consider giving up my beloved fall.
It's June, which means Kenny is working crazy hours again. Today Katie and I took the kids to Colt State Park. We had a total blast! After a crabby start, Patrick quickly started being his crazy self. We ran around, climbed some rocks, and played with a beach ball. After all of that craziness we decided to try to fly a kite. We were able to get the kite in the air, but then Patrick decided to be Patrick. He kept running into the kite string and spinning so he would be totally wrapped up in it. Silly boy! Renee relaxed on her blanket and looked at her favorite things... trees. On the way home we stopped for some ice cream, and Patrick sure made the most of his!

Fun times in the old Hometown

This past weekend Kenny and I took Patrick to THE event in my hometown of Dighton. It's the Cow Chip Festival. Every year the town brings in cows, and the locals bet on which cow will be the first to sh*t in a square. We didn't bet, but we did have a fun time at the carnival. Patrick rode another coaster (train as he calls it), and a giant slide. Renee was very snoozy, so we left her at home with Gammma and Papa.

Memorial Day Part 2

Sorry for the delay in posting, but the little ones have been keeping me busy. On Sunday of Memorial Day weekend we went to Auntie's for Gramma Edie's birthday party. Patrick had a great time splashing in the pool with his cousin Ce Ce.

Then that evening we went to the carnival at LaSalette near us. Patrick rode his first roller coaster. He loved it! He kept insisting on riding it over and over. Momma, Dada, Gammma, and Papa each got to take turns riding with him. It was a great time!

Memorial Day Part 1

This Memorial Day weekend was jam packed for us. We spent Saturday with Kenny's parents at their house. Patrick had a great time running around with their dog Stumpy. Patrick has renamed him Stump. Renee spent the day being passed around between the adults and being beautiful as always. After a long day of food and sun filled fun we headed home to collapse and get ready for the next day's adventures.
