For real this time

Hi everyone, I'm not lying this time. It's time to reveal the sex of Johnson baby
#2. Today we had our second Thanksgiving dinner over at Auntie's. Kathryn was chatting with us on Skype and we had Dan on the phone so they all wanted to know what Baby #2 is. I was fine with telling everyone whenever they wanted, so as long as K was cool with it so was I. Drum roll please! Johnson baby #2 will be making HER arrival in mid April. Both Kenny and I are very excited at the idea of giving Patrick a little sister. No name yet, but we're working on it so keep sending suggestions our way. Ta for now all!

Thanksgiving Redo

Today was Thanksgiving Redo at Auntie's. What a big crowed she had today. Almost everyone was able to make it. Andy made his delicious fried turkey (I'm told it's delicious, I've never had it) and there was all of the rest of the Thanksgiving fixings. I think the highlight of the afternoon for most of us was getting to talk with Katie on Skype. She's been in Paris since September and we all miss her. Less than two weeks then she'll be home. All in all a great Thanksgiving weekend!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, and boy was it a busy one. We have so much to be thankful for this year. We started the day waking up early and watching Kenny run in a 5K. He did great finishing 27th out of 285 people. Yay! Run Forest Run!

Please let me in. I want to swim

After the race... A silly family photo

Then, we headed to my Mom's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Yummy. What could be better than Tofurkey, with all the fixings? It was such a great day full of family and friends. I can't wait until next year for a repeat this time with Johnson baby
#2.

It's a .............

Mystery! I had my 20 week ultrasound today. Everything looked great. Baby J is developing right on schedule, and like it's brother, it's a total wiggle worm. Both Ken and I know the sex of the baby. As many of you know my sister is in France until 12/10. She really wanted to be here when we told everyone, so she's made us promise not to tell. So if you want to blame someone for not knowing if the latest Baby J is a boy or a girl, blame Kathryn. :)

P.S. Ken and I can't agree on any names, so send along your suggestions.

Family Day

Things are starting to get very busy for us. This past weekend might be our last family outing until January as Kenny's work gets more and more busy. Not to worry faithful readers, Patrick and I will continue to trek here and there and I'll be sure to post about our adventures.
One of the only good things about getting the aftermath of a tropical storm is once it leaves we usually get a day or two of warm weather. On Sunday we took advantage of the warm temperatures and headed to Mystic. We haven't been to the aquarium there in several years, and we had a great time. Patrick loves water so he was in heaven. All day long we got to hear water, water, water. His favorite exhibits were the beluga whales, and the baby California sea lions. He wasn't able to sit still for the sea lion show though, so him and I went back to the whales while Kenny watched the show.

Welcome to the aquarium. The place with lots of water.

Hi water!

Ahhh! This is the life.

You can't make me go to the sea lion show!

It's begining to look a lot like

Christmas! I know I should have a Halloween post up, but with Patrick being afraid of costumes, we really didn't do too much on Saturday. On Sunday we went to tag our Christmas tree in Rehoboth. Patrick loved roaming around the trees, and hiding from us. He really liked helping us pick our tree. We told him to choose one he liked and he ran off found a few and started hiting them with sticks. Unfortunatly, those trees were already tagged. It took awhile, but we finally found a tree that met with Patrick approval.

It takes two Johnson's to be as tall as one Christmas tree!

I think this one might be good
