Road Trip! Pt 1

We're back! We just spent an awesome week traveling around Pennsylvania. We ended up traveling over 1600 miles in our Mazda. We stopped at the Poconos. Then went out to western PA, and finished our week at Sesame Place in Langhorne.
The drive out to Western PA is about 9 hours in the car. I was totally not doing that with a 3 year old and a 1 year old, so we stopped after about 5 hours. That put us in the Poconos. We love camping. It gives the kids so much more room to run and play than if we stayed at a hotel. This campground was so busy. It had a giant playground, and a grownup, and a kiddie pool. The night we were there it was also Christmas in July. Santa's elves made a stop by the campground, and brought all of the kids presents. We woke up the next day ready to continue our journey.

Night before the road trip. They're ready!

We get to swim, while Kenny sets up camp.

Happy 4th of July

This 4th of July was jam packed with family time. On Sunday we went to a cook out at Kenny's Mom's house. The kids had a great time. Renee went swimming with Daddy and Pat had fun playing with all of the toys Grammy J bought.

On Monday we headed over to Uncle's for another cookout. Even though it was hot the kids enjoyed themselves. Renee was just starting to walk, so she enjoyed showing off her new skills. Pat woke up from his nap on the wrong side of bed, but eventually came around, and had fun. Later that night Renee went to sleep at Grandma's, while Kenny and I took Pat to his first ever fireworks. He loved it. He kept saying "the fireworks make a crunching sound, or the BOOM." Unfortunately, I only got one picture in before my camera ran out of batteries.
