Em's Shower

Today was my cousin Em's baby shower. Lucky for her the rain held off, and we only had a cloudy day. About par for this June. There were so many people there, and Em got some FABULOUS gifts. I don't know what it is about baby girls, but it makes everyone want to buy clothes. (I'm guilty too. But, at least I bought size one year and not newborn). Anyway, Patrick had a fun time too running around with all of the kids that were there. He even got to bring home a new pink friend.

Today we celebrated my grandmother's birhday. We had some great food, and Patrick got spend some time with my Dad's family. Happy birthday Grammy.

Happy Father's Day?

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's and Grandpa's out there! Our Father's Day was very busy. We started the day with me making breakfast for my men. Then, we went on an adventure to get Kenny a new backpack carrier for Patrick. We can't wait to try it out on our upcoming camping trip. After we got home, we only had a few minutes before Kenny had to go to work. :( Don't worry Kenny it's only a week and a half before we leave for vacation!

On Wednesday, I had a field trip to Canobie Lake park and didn't get home until almost 8. So, Patrick headed to my mom's for a sleepover. He had a great time playing with his buddy Kerrin, and helping plant the pumpkins for the "most sincere pumpkin patch". He had so much fun he didn't want to sleep and ended up sleeping in a big boy bed.

Yesterday was my cousin Em's thirtyith birthdy party. Kenny wasn't able to come, because he had to work. :( PJ and I had a great time! We played in Auntie's swing, and climbed the kid climber, and had some food. Happy Birthday Em!

Almost Time for.....

Vacation! Although I really like my job summer vacation can't come fast enough. This weekend was spent mostly outside. On Saturday, we went to a party for our neighbor's son Alec. Patrick had a great time playing with the big kids. He seems to prefer them to the little ones. At least the big kids can run away when Patrick tries to hit them.
Then, today Kenny's parents came up for dinner and a visit. We took them to Bass Pro Shops or as I like to call it Man Mecca. They seemed impressed with how big the store was. We picked up some supplies for our first camping trip of the season which is coming up in just a couple of weeks. Then, it was back to our house where we cooked a scrumptious dinner! T-14 days until I start my vacation!
