Halloween

For those of you expecting to see cute pictures of Patrick in his Halloween costume.... Don't hold your breath. Patrick has decided costumes are horrible, evil things. He is refusing to wear one. So, there will be no pictures of Patrick trick-or-treating this year. Sorry. :)

Apple and Irish Festival

On Sunday Kenny, Patrick and I went to Mt. Wachusett for the annual Apple and Irish festival. It was a perfect fall day. The air was cool and crisp, and the sun was shinning. The festival was a bit smaller than we thought it would be, but we still had a great time. Patrick loved listening to the Irish music, and running up and down the mountain. He also found a rusty old shovel and put himself right to work. However, both Patrick and Kenny's favorite part of the day was seeing the Saint Bernards that were there for a show. The dogs did two meet and greets and we were at both of them. I see a very large sloppy dog in our future. (Not, however, until we get a MUCH bigger house.)

Now that's a big puppy

I'm loving the bagpipes, but I really wish this water was a pint.

See ya. I'm off to climb the mountain

Fall Weekend Part 2

Sunday was on of the grossest weather days I've seen in a really long time. It started off pouring, and by late afternoon it was snowing. Even so we decided to trek out. Kenny's parents came up and we headed out to the Aggie School's Fall Show. The show itself was beautiful. We saw landscaping exhibits, a lovely flower display, and lots of animals. Patrick's favorite part of the outing was the tractors. He kept saying tractor, tractor over and over again. After the show we headed back to our house to watch the Patriots game, have dinner, and watch it snow.

Couldn't we have picked a nicer day for this adventure?

Who doesn't love baby turtles?

RRRRRRRRRRR!

Fall Weekend Part 1

This has been one weird weather year. Up until about a week ago it was in the 70's. Now all of the sudden it's struggling to reach 40. Brrr. But it is a great excuse to break out the cute fall clothes. On Saturday Patrick, Buster, and I followed our typical routine. We got up and headed to breakfast with Gamma Edie. Then it was time to bundle up against the cold to go outside and do some planting before the rain came. Patrick liked the digging in the dirt, but he totally didn't get why we kept putting stuff in the ground and burying them.

You want me to do what?

Okay. I get it now

I like planting

I like fall too.

Columbus Day

Sorry I've been a bit lax about posting lately. But, we've got some jam-packed weekends coming up so hopefully I'll have some interesting posts and great pictures. This Columbus Day weekend was very busy for us. On Saturday night Ken and I got to have a date night while Patrick had a sleepover at Gamma's and Papa's. Kenny and I went to Fire and Ice for dinner then we headed over to go see Waterfire. It was very pretty, but boy was it chilly out.

On Sunday we went to Auntie's surprise 60th birthday party. Patrick had a great time charming all of his relatives.

Happy Birthday Auntie!

Hey I remember these things

Gosh darn it. Golly gee! I guess I am too big for these things.

Then, that evening the Doraz's came over. The boys had fun eating pizza and playing. They played very well with each other only fighting over the broom. I'm loving that the two of them are really starting to interact more instead of just playing next to each other. I can't wait to watch over the next few years how their little friendship develops.
